Glycol ratios in a draft chiller/power pack

Glastender recommends 1 part glycol to 3 parts water.  http://www.glastender.com/PDF/LC85,%2044,%2065,%2086,%2047.pdf

Micro-Matic recommends 1 part glycol to 2.5 parts water.  http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/glycol-pid-60703.html

In our experience, these ratios do not contain enough glycol to adequately remove the heat from a draft system.  We often see rations of 1 to 1 that are not capable of fixing faucet temperature problems.  If you have dispensed temperature issues, and have verified other possibilities, you may want to change the glycol to 75% glycol and 25% water.  In our experience, this is a better solution for temperature extraction.
